Château Plain Point Fronsac 2019
AOC Fronsac
A blend of Merlot, an emblematic grape variety of its region, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, Château Plain Point expresses notes of fruits and spices. The mosaic of terroirs of the estate allows for a wide range of expressions of these grape varieties, resulting in great complexity.
The aging in barrels subtly perfects this aromatic bouquet by bringing some toasted notes. The ideal companion for exceptional moments, this wine embodies not only the perfect present but also a safe bet that will delight the most demanding palates.

Tasting Notes:
Lithe, supple, fresh and jumping light red fruit aromas that include red and black cherries. Also aromas of mocha, orange rind and wet bark. In the mouth a chewy chocolate layered beauty-complex and fresh, with fruit, mocha and slight spice. Layered flavors-think black pepper, persimmons and buttered toast. Pair the same as you would a light Pinot Noir-sea bass, salmon doused with ginger or a dessert of peppermint ice cream.
